Karyn Kurth, PT

Karyn graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center with a B.S. in physical therapy. She is the co-owner of Dynamic Therapy Center. Karyn has extensive experience in a variety of settings including acute care, adult rehab, geriatrics, and pediatrics. She has been employed by Rehab America/Tennessee Health Management for over 20 years with her responsibilities including staff training, insurance and appeals, and implementation for Electronic Health Records. Since Dynamic Therapy Center opened in 2005, Karyn has been the managing partner and has been responsible for the day to day operations (including staffing, securing insurance contracts, billing, and marketing). Throughout her career, she has had ongoing training in billing and documentation, home and workplace assessments, wheelchair assessments, and Electronic Health Records. She and her husband have lived in Wilson County for 20 years with their 3 daughters. They enjoy traveling and sports (Go Vols!). She is very excited about the future plans for Dynamic Therapy Center!

Michelle Hill, OTR/L

Michelle is a 1991 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia where she earned her B.S. in occupational therapy. Michelle is the co-owner of Dynamic Therapy Center. In 1997, she started Empowering Therapy Services which provides occupational physical therapy services to school systems. In 1999, Michelle began as the director of the Shooting Stars basketball league for individuals with special needs. She is the founder of Empower Me, a non-profit organization with a mission to empower individuals with special needs to achieve their full potential in a community filled with possibilities. These individuals can meet their emotional and physical needs through love and acceptance with family and friendship as they are led by a professional and therapeutic staff. Michelle is a graduate of Leadership Wilson and is among the Tennessean’s “Top 40 under 40” who make a difference in middle Tennessee communities. Michelle has been named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International and the Lebanon Noon Rotary Club. Michelle is the author of “Open This, Only If,” a book detailing the two years following the death of her husband in 2011 and the journey she traveled with her two children.
